I got nominated to join my school track team and I thought it would be a good thing to join. Does anybody have some really good/special tips about pacing yourself, what to bring, what to wear, and so on.

Short distance anything to a 400- As fast as you can
Middle distance anything to mile- 2nd half of race faster than the first
Long distance anything past mile- pretty much same as mid distance
Always go as fast as you can the last 100- 200 meters of your race
Wear sweats to warm up in and shorts and short sleeve shirt
