Relay Races?

What are some fun relay races for kids at the pool?


Obviously a free and medley. And TN tumbler and corkscrew. But what else? Maybe outside of the pool? I was thinking frog jumps, spin 10 times then walk in a straight line, etc.|||I coached 13 and unders for a few years and they loved relay races, so the things you have are great, a few more ideas could include an inner tube:


Have one kid in the tube swim to one end, then the next swimmer will push (or pull) the kid in the tube, then the next swimmer will help push, then the next will help the first two and so on, (it's an add on, promoting team work and strategy) and do this for as many kids as you have and the team who gets everyone to the finish first wins!





Another relay is swimming with the inner tube and exchange it with each swimmer





Add on chain: one swimmer (A) swims to the end of the pool, the next swimmer (B) will pull (A), Then swimmer (C) will pull A and B, then D will Pull A,B, and C and so on and so forth
