Doed any one have good relay race tips?

Any good relay tips.

Also whats a good time for a 400m relay(100m each)|||Handoffs are definitely (%26lt;--- sry, i always spell that word wrong) key. Especially for the 4x1 and 4x2. If you have a sloppy hand off, you're adding onto your time. Make sure everyone's comfortable with those

Handoff timing is also important. The person recieving the baton wants to get a running start. That way, the other person doesn't run up on them. At the same time, u don't want to start too early either.

Also, order is pretty important too. All the legs are important, but i had an experience where i was the anchor leg (idk why cuz i certainly wasn't the fastest on my relay team) and we were in first. Then, once i got the baton, this other girl caught me cuz the anchor legs r typically the fastest. So u'd probably want your fastest person last, cuz they have to keep the lead, the second fastest first and the third fastest second.

As for time, my team's got the state record, and that's 48.46.

Hope this helps. =D|||When you are about to relay the stick, tell the guy receiving to start jogging to gain speed. So The receiver wouldn't just stop and wait for you. If your team does this, you can relay it easily. This spares you 3-4 seconds in the clock.

Oh and this is just a 400 meter relay divided to your teammates so you don't get tired a lot. Just sprint the fastest you can. While sprinting hold your breath (not too much) and don't forget to swing your arms.

Good Luck!
