I have a 100 meters flat to fun tomorrow for a relay race at my school! How do I run faster!?

It's tomorrow and I need to know how to run faster! My school is shutting down this year and I really need to make my school proud. We run against 7 other school that participate. There fast too! Also, we have to jump over hay bales that's 50 meters long. Help!|||The only way you can run "FASTER" as you've asked here is by one of two ways; either you're born with natural speed or long periods of training. Since it sounds as though you have had no serious training (otherwise you wouldn't be asking this question and would know this) that leaves only the previously mentioned possibility, have natural speed. Without either of those you have no chance. If you just want to know what is the best way to run as to finish as fast as you can, then the keys are the start, your leg turnover, your arm swing and your breathing. You must get off to a great start and build up as you go running full out with all you have, you must maintain control over you body employing a fast stride, fast short strides as opposed to long slow strides which you need to employ in a longer distance race. Your arm swing should be rapid and short directly next to you sides not across your chest that is waisted energy everything should be focused in front and behind you and finally you must control your breathing. The rhythm of your breathing is going to directly correlate to the amount of conditioning you have without conditioning you will not be able to control your breathing and that in itself will prevent you from being able to run as fast as you possibly can. Best of luck to us all and you in your race, ciao.

GAH|||You can't improve speed overnight. Try sprinting on the ball tip of your feet
