How many meters does each runner cover for the 4 by 800 relay for the whole race?

The 4 x 800 metres relay is an athletics track event in which teams comprise four runners who each complete 800 metres or 2 laps on a standard 400 meter track|||200m|||Each runner runs 800 meters.|||200 meters.

800 meters total, 4 people. so 200 meters.|||800/4=200|||Each runner runs 800, or the second number. In the 4x400 each runner runs 400.|||800 each 4x800= 3200|||Uhh!! 3200M. Each runner runs an 800M 2 laps around

4 X 800=3200|||Each runner runs 800m. But it all the depends on where you are giving the hand off, some may run more and some may run less. Ex: If you are exchanging the baton most likely you are not running the 800m because most of the time the baton gets exchanged half way before the first arrows and the finish line, usually the first man runs the least amount of distance, the middle two run the close to the exact distance, and the anchor leg usually runs the most. All of the legs total 3200m.
