I run the Distance Medley Relay race tomorrow and in it, I run the 800 whats some advice for me and my team?

Distance Medley Relay:1200 m(3 laps),400 m(1 lap),800 m(2 laps around) and 1600(4 laps around)|||Use the Go-Zone strategy. The theory is that during the hardest part of the race (the 1/2 point to the 3/4 point) is when you should be running the fastest. That means start of swift, then back off to a comfortable, but still fast, pace. When you get to the halfway point, start passing people. Then, once you are almost there, sprint to the finish.

It takes a determined effort, but it has proven effective in many races. Usually, everyone starts to slow down from 1/2 to 3/4 way throught the race, so it would be the easiest time for you to pass them.

Good Luck
