I am on the school track team. How would I go about training to get better at sprinting?

...Like sprinting in the 100 meter race, relay race, or hurdles race.|||Speed depends on how hard you can hit the ground compared to how much you weigh. At top speed its like a pogo stick with short contact times Focus on getting stronger so you don't collapse at the ankle/knee at ground contact. Try altitude drops where you jump off a chair and land on the balls of your feet, knees slightly bent. Do a few reps at first until you get used to the forces of landing. As you get stronger land on one leg or hold weights.
